The wider leadership of St. Francis Of Assisi Kikambala Parish, converged in Kikambala the mother Church, for the handover ceremony after the successful conclusion of parish-wide elections that saw various outstations and groups pick new leaders while others were retained.
The outgoing parish leadership led by Mr. Chondoh, thanked the parish council for the cooperation throughout the four years and asked the outgoing and incoming leadership to work together for the prosperity of our parish, the same was reiterated by Mr. Onyancha, the outgoing deputy chairman and Fr. Kikuyu our parish priest. The incoming Chairman Mr. Peter Marende, himself a former Parish chairman, thanked the outgoing Parish council and requested both teams to work together for the prosperity of the Parish.
It was also observed that the youth had taken up leadership positions in our churches and groups, this is highly commendable and should be encouraged. The Parish priest, Fr. Kikuyu who also doubles up as our dean, thanked the outgoing team and blessed the new leaders as they tale the helms of leadership for the new three years.
